Assigned Health Services is a collective of elder care homes in Maryland, Washington DC and surrounding areas that provide high around the clock supervision, offering dignity and personalized care planning to meet the special needs of each resident in our care homes.
Each facility is required to follow strict regulations for every aspect of care including staff qualifications, meals, medications, activities and personal and medical care. Homes are monitored by the state and county to ensure compliance with the regulations. Our management and staff are insured and bonded and receive annual refresher care training in many areas. In addition, Assigned Health Services provides additional oversight with regular internal audits of each care home as well as quality assurance programming to ensure each resident is getting the very best care possible. Our residents’ safety and needs are our priority.
Assigned Health Services offers assistance in leadership to the administration and staff of the locally owned and operated family care homes to ensure all their member homes offer consistent, high-quality care. The care home works with the physician, the resident, and family to create a plan base upon the resident’s individual needs while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
Family care homes offer a small intimate, family-type setting; and are licensed to provide residential care. These care homes, located in residential neighborhoods, employ staff who have a special interest and training in caring for the elderly. With fewer residents, our staff is able to provide more one-on-one attention and because of this often notice changes in a resident even before a family member does. Residents spend these senior years in a lovely home, supported by licensed health professionals, healthcare assistants, and family that nurture and lend them a helping hand as a caring and compassionate team.
